Desperate Gazans Swarm Aid Trucks As Israel Pauses Fighting

Israel claims there is “no famine,” but the WHO and 28 nations accuse it of fueling “man-made starvation.” The UN says 470,000 people face famine-like conditions, with over a dozen dying from malnutrition in 24 hours. UN relief chief Tom Fletcher called Israel’s one-week pause “insufficient” and urged for safe, sustained aid routes.

Amid growing international pressure, Israeli NGOs B’Tselem and Physicians for Human Rights Israel accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza, citing “intent to destroy Palestinian society.” Israel rejects the claims, blaming Hamas for civilian suffering.

Relief workers report running out of supplies and joining food lines. AFP warned its journalists may starve. An internal U.S. report found no evidence that Hamas systematically steals aid, contradicting Israeli claims.

While Israel demands Hamas disarm for a ceasefire, Hamas insists on retaining authority. The humanitarian catastrophe continues, with no lasting peace in sight.
