Blake Lively has been threatened to release private messages to force Taylor Swift to side with her in her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni.
The information appeared in a lawsuit filed by Baldoni’s legal team in response to Lively’s request to destroy a court document from Swift. According to the document, Lively allegedly pressured Taylor Swift, known as her best friend, to make a public statement of support for her and ask Swift to delete the messages between the two.
In the letter to the judge, Baldoni’s legal team said they had evidence that Lively asked Swift to delete messages that could contain private information from more than a decade of their relationship, including their romance and personal secrets.
Additionally, Lively’s attorney, Michael Gottlieb, was also accused of contacting Taylor Swift’s attorney to ask the singer to make a statement in support of Blake Lively, stating that if Swift refused, private messages would be released. Swift’s rep reportedly responded by condemning the threat, calling it “inappropriate and extortionate.”
Swift and Lively’s friendship is said to have ended since the lawsuit was filed. Swift is currently trying to keep her distance from her former friend, while her boyfriend Travis Kelce also broke up with Ryan Reynolds on social media.
Some of Lively’s accusations began to raise suspicions, such as the claim that Baldoni whispered “I smell nice” in her ear during a dance scene.
The incident continued to draw attention, attracting several famous stars and renting the best friendship in Hollywood between Blake Lively and Taylor Swift.
