A $60-an-hour naked cleaner talks about her experiences with “creepy” clients

She has worked as a naked cleaner for six years and has encountered both clients who are inquisitive and those who push boundaries.

A woman who cleans houses while naked has revealed details about her peculiar line of work.

In order to supplement her income, thirty-two-year-old Lottie Rae began working as a naked cleaner in 2017.

She believes that by providing her exclusive service, she has earned thousands of dollars throughout the years.

Lottie has worked in the industry for six years and has dealt with a wide range of customers.

While some are naturists who merely relish the liberty of being nude, others are looking for company.

Naturally, some people appear to be looking for something more than cleaning services.

Lottie, who charges $60 an hour, has seen her share of strange people. She explained: “There’s a fair few people who are creepy – a handful of the guys I clean for book cleaners on the premise they will get something else.”

She added that some clients make assumptions about the job: “I’m clear I’m there just to clean but they’ll say that other cleaners have been strippers or given massages.”

“The money has definitely helped,” she says, acknowledging the financial benefits despite this. If I weren’t receiving the financial motivation, I wouldn’t do it.”

Lottie experimented with a number of side businesses, such as selling used clothing, before settling on naked cleaning.

But when she came upon this field of employment, she was drawn to it since it gave her the opportunity to try something new, meet intriguing people, and earn a respectable living.

“I’m always looking for ways to make extra money and I quite like being naked, so I thought ‘okay, I’ll try it,’” she recounted her initial response.

But things didn’t work out with her initial reservation: “The first job I was booked for I didn’t end up going.”

She subsequently acknowledged that her initial nervousness got the better of her: “I freaked myself out after looking at the house on Google Maps and seeing it backed onto woodland and I was supposed to be there in the evening.”

Over time, though, she became more self-assured and began taking on more work: “But moving forward, I thought ‘I can do this’ and started accepting jobs.” Over the years, I’ve encountered a wide variety of folks.

She has encountered many different types of clientele throughout the years, each with their own peculiarities and demands. Particularly one stood out: “One of my clients I cleaned for three times altogether, and his house was the dirtiest house I’ve ever come across in my life, teeming with dirt and grime.”

But not every customer genuinely desired to have their house cleaned: “But when I got there he didn’t want me to clean it at all.”

She was shocked to learn that some people had no desire in anything improper: “He wasn’t creepy or pervy, he just wanted some company.”

Even though her profession requires her to wear gloves, she confesses that she frequently forgets to do so: “I don’t even wear gloves half the time even though I know I should – if it’s a really dirty house I’m a bit conscious of where I stand but usually it doesn’t bother me at all.”

However, not every interaction she has had has been pleasant. One client crossed a limit and made her uncomfortable: “I had to say no once when a guy put porn on his TV. It’s somewhat of a signal that those that are a little creepier have immaculate homes.

It’s interesting to note that she has also worked with younger clients who find it novel: “I’ve cleaned for some younger guys who seem more sociable, they’re out and about and just have disposable income and want to try something different.”

One longtime client, for example, said, “Another guy I’ve worked with [for the whole six years] is a nudist, so to him it’s right up his street.” This person fits in well with the lifestyle.

One customer, she remembered, was completely up for the experience: “He’s already naked when I get in, we have a coffee and I play with his dog and then get to work.”

She says, “The clients will get naked as well – a few of them are quite nervous at first and keep their clothes on until they’re confident enough to take them off.” Some of her clients even decide to strip down.

Regarding her private life, she claims that those close to her have differing views: “My family and friends are aware of what I do, but I believe they question why I do it. Although they believe that all of these men are strange and unsettling, they are mostly good people.

Remarkably, her partners in previous relationships did not have any issues with her work, stating:

“I’ve been in a few relationships over the past six years, and each time they were totally cool with it. My current girlfriend is cool with it, which is refreshing.

“I know a lot of my friend’s partners wouldn’t be OK with it.”
